Lashes By Christina was established in 2017.
With a background in Art & design, and a degree in photography, I thought long and hard about what skills and attributes I had that would transfer nicely into the beauty industry.
I am a perfectionist, with an eye for detail. I decided to go on a Lash extension course in August 2017, my trainer asked me if I had done any training in lash extensions before, (I hadn't) and that I was a natural. I arrived skeptical yet hopeful and left feeling extremely confident in my decision to do this course. I threw myself into lashing, asking friends and family to be my models. I was working as a full time PA at the time, so would practice as much as I could around that. I then began to advertise and the bookings started to come in. I would take hundreds of photos to build up my portfolio with each set I did. Six months later, after I felt I had mastered Classic lashes, I went on a Russian volume course. I began lashing from my dads spare bedroom every single evening and weekend to fit around my job, I dedicated every spare moment I had to it as I wanted to be the best that I could be.
Fast forward three years, I have built my own beauty cabin in my garden and work from the comfort of my own home. I have attended several lash courses and master classes and now offer my own insurable training courses.
